Socotra is a set of Islands in the Indian Ocean. It contains some of the most unique plants known to man. I love exotic vegetation . I hope to go there one day and take some incredible pictures.

One of the most striking of Socotra’s plants is the dragon’s blood tree (Dracaena cinnabari), which is a strange-looking, umbrella-shaped tree. Its red sap was the dragon’s blood of the ancients, sought after as a medicine and a dye. Today the sap is used as paint and varnish. This tree is my favorite.
